The series consists of correspondence and subject files of Cason J. Callaway and the Callaway family or pertaining to the administration of Callaway Gardens (Pine Mountain, Ga.) and its affiliates, the Ida Cason Callaway Foundation and Gardens Services, Inc., from 1890-present. The series documents Callaway's agricultural interests and innovations; the development of Blue Springs Farms (Hamilton, Harris County, Ga.) and Callaway Gardens; his activities as director for several major corporations; and his involvement with various charitable, educational, or civic organizations. The series also contains information on Callaway's and his father's, Fuller E. Callaway, involvement in the textile industry.
